Hall rental in nassau Long Island...
Hello everyone!
I am looking to rent a hall in Nassau county for my son's upcoming 2nd birthday on January 2008.Can you please provide any suggestions.I need it to hold around 125 people.Thank you!

Are you looking for a place to just hold the party. Meaning, are you going to have it catered yourself?
If so VFW's and American Legion's are usually good for that. Also some firehouses rent their rooms/halls.

The American Legion Hall in Malverne on Franklin Avenue is always very busy. I went to a 1st birthday there and it was very nice. They hired a caterer and did a nice buffet and they brought in a magician for the kids.

There is a KOC in Bellmore off of Bellmore Ave. The one room is very large, they have weddings there.

This is the hall I posted about a while back. It is a beautiful hall, Don't know about 125 people, but you should look at it. It has a bar and a separate DJ booth. Has a kitchen and very nice and clean bathroom. Plus there is lots of run around room for kiddies outside and the parking lot it fenced in. I don't remember prices, I was there a while ago.
You may want to look into the main firehouse on E. Meadow avenue they have a huge upstairs that would probably have no problem fitting 125 and they too have the bar and room for a DJ.

I just looked there for our child's christening. It is nice, but a bit overpriced if you ask me. You have to guarantee 75 and it is $39 pp. You must use them for the food.

There is a nice American Legion or Knights of Columbus ( I don't remember exactly) on Gardner's Levittown. I don't know the exact address but it is near the firehouse in Levittown. I was there for a communion party. And you do not have to be a member. I think it was like $800ish for 4 hours with unlimited beer and wine and bartender.

There's a VFW Hall in Bellmore. I'm not sure about 125 people, but I do know you can bring your own food and liquior.

For some reason I don't think they are allowed to exclude us. I'm not sure, but since we pay taxes, it would only be right that we should have access to it. Or maybe you can get someone that belongs to sponsor you? Good question.
