How much to rent a VFW hall?

For about 70 adults,to include beer & wine!

I think they may all be different. Some of them offer a package to just rent the hall and others offer packages to include beer, wine, soda, etc. Where are you located?

We had 50 adults. It was 500 for the hall. And then you put money "up front" to cover drinks. You determine what you want to bill to cover - soda only, beer and wine, open bar, etc.

That was for the VFW in Copiague.

We paid like 350 for the hall and then it was cheaper to get a keg, wine and soda instead of paying 5$ a head. There were 110 people. There were a few people my dad told the bartender goes on our tab for mixed drinks and everyone else paid for thier own mixed drinks.

I just had a surprise party for my DH last weekend at the Seaford KOC(Memorare Club) They did a Fantastic job!! The hall was 450..and you get 3 bartenders..If you use their caterer it's 15pp(I used my own)Open Bar(top shelf) was 11pp...I think BWS was 8pp..They also don't charge for Kids, which is a huge money saver.......Speak w/Gene....total sweetheart...Tell him I sent you..HTH

I have a civic association in my town. To rent it out for 3 hours is 180 for members and non members are 220. It does not come with that and you have to supply the rest. But KOC and many fire departments rent out their places. good luck finding a place!
