Hi there!
My OBGYN practice is in Eastchester (Scarsdale area). They delivered my DS and are affiliated with White Plains Hospital. They are all female OBGYNs.
The practice used to be called Eastchester OBGYN but now are part of a larger group -- "Westchester Medical Group." They still see patients at their Eastchester location but are also affiliated with 2 OBGYNs at an additional office location in White Plains. (if that area works better for you I can get that info)
Here is the info if the location/area works for you. I highly recommend them. My doctor is Dr. Abbatista (she delivered my son), though I've seen all the doctors in the practice at one point or another and like them all very much!
700 White Plains Road Suite 241 Scarsdale, NY 10583 Phone: (914) 472-2222 Fax: (914) 472-2434
Any other questions, feel free to FM!

Re: Any Lower Westchester moms here?
I'm right in White Plains and unfortunately my Dr. is no longer delivering, she's just doing Gyno work now. I will probably be using the same preactice though, which is right in WP. It's a couple of doctors and a nurse practioner, which is who I will probably use- Lucy Milne. As far as Felicia's suggestion, I actually teach Dr Abbattista's daughters dance. Small world.

That's who I used too. Dr. Abbatista is my doctor but Dr Ainsworth is my favorite (they are all great though). My DD was delivered by one of the other 2 doctors who share call with them so unfortunately I never had met her before. She was nice as well and to be honest I barely saw her. I got the reccomendation for this practice as well as for my pediatrician from Metsgirlie who got them from Felicia. I am very happy so I would definitely trust Felicia's rec Good Luck!
ETA: Yes it is in that shopping center, above Banana Republic.

Hmm.. not that I am aware of.. The doctors I've all seen before have been Dr. Abbatista Dr. Ainsworth Dr. Meyer
Dr. Cecilia Ponce in is the practice but I believe she just does Gynecology if I am not mistaken (not sure on that, I never saw her at all so I always assumed she did not do Obstetrics..) Maybe metsgirlie or Jodi can confirm that one -
I know there are 2 doctors in a different office in White Plains that are now part of the Westchester Medical Group's OBGYN dept, but I've never seen them before so I am unsure of their names (when I had my son, the practices had not yet merged)

I actually love Ainsworth the best too.. she has such a nice personality and it wound up I saw her the most throughout my pregnancy. At the time I was PG, Dr. Meyer had just had her son and was on maternity leave so I only met her a couple times. Even though Abbatista is my main doctor, she is a little wacky sometimes ... but since my delivery went sooo great I have nothing but good thoughts for her
To the OP - you really can't go wrong with any of them though, they are all really nice. Since you will be encouraged to see them all when you are PG, it's good to like the group as a whole
I think the only complaint I had when I was PG was that the phones were sooo busy there that sometimes it was hard to get through if you were calling for a questions/test results BUT I believe since they merged the front desk/phones might have gotten better (not 100% sure as I've only been back 1x since having my son and haven't had much reason to call )
Good Luck!

i just wanted to say thanks again to everybody! i actually called today and i have an appointment for a consult with dr. ainsworth on 2/12!!! i'm super excited! i'm a plus size girl and my gyno was less than comforting or supportive when i told her i want to TTC soon. i actually left her office crying so i'm excited at the prospect of meeting a doctor who may actually be nice to me! i've been really nervous about making an appointment b/c my gyno upset me so much but dr. ainsworth's office was SO SO nice today when i called! hopefully by the end of the year i'll be joining you ladies on this board!
thanks again!!
