Design Help- Burnt Orange Couches
I really liked these burnt orange couches at Raymour and Flannigans. They had the nail head trip on the bottom and very strong looking - if that makes sense-.
Any design tips or pictures that would help?
I am thinking tan walls... thoughts?!?!
OR Do I stay far away from the burnt orange sofas?

Re: Design Help- Burnt Orange Couches
can u post a pic?
i'm not scared of color..burn orange sounds nice & sure, tan would be a great choice, but it is also a safe choice.
depending on the orange hue, you could do a sage green, or light blue, a grey, or even a nice mellow yellow.
I would just stay away from red walls

Re: Design Help- Burnt Orange Couches
Im a HUGE fan of orange, all of the rooms in my house have some sort of orange! In fact, we are looking at a burnt orange sectional for our living room! Google orange living rooms and check out decorpad.com, you can search it by color!

Re: Design Help- Burnt Orange Couches
this is my dream living room and while the couches are a different color, the pallet could work.
My MBR has chocolate brown walls with a burnt orange bedspread.
then there are these....for color pallet inspiration
this is the mood board, I did for myself for when I want to redo my living room (i have red couches) but the pallet could work

I love burnt orange with a slate blue or gray. Nice warm and cozy feeling for the room.
Love eddiesmommy's inspiration pics. Go for the burnt orange couches. It's a great pop of color in a bigger way. GL!

that's why I like to go more neutral with a couch and use color to accent. You can easily switch out your drapes, pillows, some art and get a whole new look.

Re: Design Help- Burnt Orange Couches
I have burnt orange couches currently - from my grandma.
I love them, Dh doesn't, so we're having them re-upholstered (just one).
Our LR is a tan color. I feel like the couches are pretty neutral. Go for it!!!
You can see them in my album but my whole LR is hand-me-downs so you really don't get a feel for them.
