How much does Peapod cost to deliver?
Aside from the first delivery, what does it cost for an average delivery or is it based on what you spend?

Over $100.00: $6.95
Orders less than $100.00: $9.95
Minimum order amount is $60.00.

Temporary Fuel Surcharge
Since the price of gas has risen dramatically over the past year, we have instituted a temporary fuel surcharge as we are no longer able to absorb these costs. The surcharge will be directly tied to the retail price of gasoline in the New England (CT, MA and RI), Central Atlantic (NJ, NY, VA, MD, Washington D.C., PA) and Chicago (IL, WI) regions as published by the Department of Energy (http://www.eia.doe.gov). A fuel surcharge will be triggered only when the price of a gallon of gasoline rises above $2.75.
The fuel surcharge will be added when you first submit your order and will appear on your order paperwork as "Fuel Surcharge." The surcharge will be updated weekly according to the fee schedule posted below.

$3.96 - $4.05 $1.48
$4.06 - $4.15 $1.58
$4.16 - $4.25 $1.68
$4.26 - $4.35 $1.78
$4.36 - $4.45* $1.88
*Add $.10 to surcharge for every $.10 increase in gasoline prices.
This week's surcharge is $1.08.

Yup totally worth it!!
I did peapod a lot for awhile.
For the first 5 orders they usually send you coupon codes for 5 bucks off so depending on what you spent it basically pays for delivery (close enough).
I havent placed an order since the sumemr started but prob now that winter is on its way I will use again more.
Their customer service is AWESOME!!
One time I had an issue where the delivery guy literally forogt almost half my bags ( i didnt realize until he left).
I called and they refunded me all the items he forgot PLUS set up a redelivery.
That was the only issue.
Produce ...usually ok...I tend not to order too much just bc I do like to pick out certain things as far as fruits and veggies...but for all else...GREAT!
