I had gotten the American Girl doll "Bitty baby" one Christmas from my Grandma. Funny enough, this was the last Christmas I believed in Santa. I named the baby, Mary, in honor of the Virgin Mary (Catholic school for 14 years will do this to a child). I also told my mom this Christmas that I wanted a baby brother or sister for Christmas and that I'd practice taking care of the baby on Mary. 
And when I tell you I had everything for this doll, I had e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. She had a nicer waredrobe than me, nicer bedroom than me, a gorgeous wicker bassinet, everything!
ETA: The very next Christmas, my mom was pregnant with my little sister!

I got a hamster when I was in third grade that looked exactly like this pic. I loved that thing so much and would carrying it in my shirt pocket almost everywhere!

I remember playing hungry hippos til it broke! And getting tons of packs of garbage pail kids, I loved them.

That's what they were called when I had them. I even remember the theme song on the commercial. "Sylvanian families, each sold seperately, Sylvanian families, to collect and LOVE".
OMG, I loved them so so much. I am glad they are around still so I can buy them for my DD. They have so much more now to choose.

I had them when they were called Sylvanian families too! I had the house and everything, it was one of my favorite toys!
