Anyone remember "The Letter People"? It was this whole kit of books and activities to help you learn letters and letter sounds.

I remember when my grandmother's telephone no. started with letters. VI 9-3921
I remember adjusting the antennae on the TV to get a clear picture.
I remember when HBO was "home box."
I remember those little numbered electronic keypads that made music if you followed the number pattern.

I think I'm older than most folks on here, so this might sound like one of those "I walked uphill, both ways" stories, but here goes...
I remember thinking Pong was a fabulous electronic game!
I remember when there was no Internet (for the general public anyway)
I remember when we did not have cable TV in our area too, we got 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, & 13. That was it.
We had a push button phone, and a lot of my friends thought that was so cool.
I remember typing papers on a typewriter, no computer in college.
I had LPs, then switched to cassettes, then CDs, now an Ipod.
I remember playing with a GAF viewer, or that's what I think it was called. You put discs inside this viewing device and followed stories that way.
Does anyone remember SRAs from school? Those were these color coded reading activity kits?

I loved those! But when I moved to LI from Queens, they didn't use them. I was so disappointed! I was a nerd
