creative ladies...any ideas for baseball themed 1st birthday
So for my DS’s 1st birthday party I want to do a baseball theme. Here are my ideas so far:
-Baseball ticket invites
-Lil Slugger shirt for DS
-Have guests wear baseball attire
-Serve stadium food like hot dogs, burgers, sausage & peppers, chili (for the hot dogs)
-Some snacks – peanuts, cracker jacks, big pretzels, popcorn
-Cake will be a baseball theme. Thinking of doing baseball cookie favors.
-A bat to have everyone sign in on
- I found baseball plates/napkins
- found a banner that says “concession” I can hang over the food.
Does anyone have any other ideas/suggestions/things they’ve done in the past?
p.s. I don’t have a lot of kids coming so I don’t need to hire any kind of entertainment.

- for thank yous' you can put your son's hand print on a baseball for each guest to take home when they leave. OR have baseball cards made up for DS. mpix.com does them.
- if its at venue (other than your home) you can name the tables after MLB teams.

A friend's son's bday party was a "baseball theme"
THey also served ice-cream in those plastic baseball caps
the whole family wore a baseball Jersey with their name on the back. THought that was really cute. Maybe it was their last name with "team"
I'll have to ask, but they were Yankee pinstriped button down and real nice.
I actually got DS and DH "lil Slugger" and "big slugger" baseball shirts so they wore that to the party.
the favors were those blow up ball and bats
