Anyone sell their wedding dress after the wedding???
I have been finding a ton of websites where you can list your wedding gown, aside from ebay. I would love to buy from one of these sites but the designer of my dress is so new that no one has them for sale yet.
I was wondering if anyone has sold their dress and about how much they were able to get for it?
The dress i love is pricey and couture so im wondering if i would be able to sell it

I am thinking of it, or donating it to charity. As a whole, I don't think the resale value of a wedding dress is very high. of course the higher priced it was originally, the more you will get, but I wouldn't expect to get back any more than 50%.

No but I want to. And would certainly like to hear the websites you found where it can be sold! 
I don't think the resale value will be high either. But it's better than it sitting in my closet unused.

Could not agree more. I was just further grumbling about it yesterday, when I had to move it from what was the guest room bed to what is becoming the nursery. I haven't even cleaned it yet! But I want to sell it!! Even if I made $200, I'd be thrilled--it would be out of my way!

I had an offer through LIW after I posted my review and then I chickened out and couldn't sell it. I brought it for preservation the day after the wedding and went to the cleaner five times before it was boxed to review the spots/marks and have him try again. So, now it's as clean as it could possibly be, preserved and taking up residence in my guest room for no reason.
I should have sold it when I had the chance  I think I just wasn't ready to let it go when I got the offer.
So, if anyone's interested - I have a Lazaro gown! Oh, and I know for a fact my SIL wants to sell her Vera Wang!

Wow - I found my gown on here. Someone in Great Neck is trying to get $1850 for it. Now I'm really tempted! Although hers was never worn or altered (what a shame!)
