Booked Jet Blue thru Expedia (Seat Assignments)
So, I booked Jet Blue through Expedia and didn't realize that Expedia does not let you pick seats like the JB site. The flight is not for six months and a non-holiday time so I'm really concerned about not getting a seat with DH. Should I just call Jet Blue and see if they can give me seat assignments? Is there a way I do it through Expedia or JB websites?

Just call them. I've booked online and not been able to select seats, I just called up and the assigned me seats.

I have booked airline tickets before through Expedia, orbitz, etc. You normally get an Expedia confirmation # and an airline confirmation #. I have then been able to go on the airline's website and then choose my seats.

Booked Jet Blue thru Expedia (Seat Assignments)
Call JetBlue. I was able to book seats on Expedia on JetBlue when I booked a trip BUT, for some reason, it wouldn't let me select a seat for my 4 year old. I called JetBlue and they were great.

Out of curiosity why did you book expedia and not just through jetblue directly? was it a package you were buying? did you find the prices less through expedia than jetblue directly?

Booked Jet Blue thru Expedia (Seat Assignments)
The confirmation number you got on Expedia if you enter that on Jet Blue site you will see your flight itinerary and you should be able to select your seats.

We just booked a JetBlue Getaway. Was cheaper than Expedia and we chose our seats right away.

We only went with Expedia since it was the only place that let us book that this specific resort - for some reason, once we added the kids, we couldn't book through anything else, even though they had rooms available.
We ended up having to cancel and thankfully had insurance - and got all of our money back (less insurance).
