See I know I would love it but it's like $40 and I can't see spending that for something she will only use for like a month

Re: Bumbo Baby Sitter
DS loved his Bumbo. I think it was worth the purchase. He would play sitting in there, you can feed him sitting in it, I read books to him while he sits in there, ect. The box states 3 + months for use. DS is 8 months and still using it. I have even seen people bring them into the resteruants to sit their babies in. I haven't done that, but seen it.

Re: Bumbo Baby Sitter
i sat Bella in it at 3 months...however she only used it until about 5 months when she learned to sit on her own. She actually learned how to arch her way out of the seat!!! i did also feed, and read to her when she was sitting in it. It was worth the money but every baby is different, my baby is now 10 months and is not into sittting she is more interested in crawling and crusing furnature! its a great product for that in between stage of sitting on there own. Bella was too small for her high chair so for the months she used the bebe pod it was a great place to put her to eat...it was also great for traveling!!! i HIGHLY reccoment the bebe pod over the bumbo seat ...good luck!

Re: Bumbo Baby Sitter
I just got the bumbo, DS likes to sit in it and watch tv. He is three months and I figured if nothing else it will help him build the muscles he needs to sit up on his own.

Re: Bumbo Baby Sitter
I have it and have been using it since my son was 3 1/2 months. He is now a little over four months. He loves it. But I don't know how long we will use it for.
He likes it because he can sit up in it. But honestly, its a bit pricey for what it is.

Re: Bumbo Baby Sitter
I've been putting Michael in the Bumbo for a few weeks now. It's hysterical- he looks so cute in it! I put him in it when I'm in the kitchen and I need to put him down for a second or when we're eating dinner, he sits at the table with us. We love it! Image Attachment(s):

I know! Had I known he was only going to last a month in it, I probably would not have gotten it. I started putting him in it at 4 months also.
Also if your baby has very chunky thighs, they'll outgrow it fast too. The leg holes are really not that big.
ETA: Since it's used for such a short period of time, do you want to borrow mine?

I had it, but by the time I got it, Gianni was already sitting and starting to crawl (5 months) so I returned it because he hated it.

Re: Bumbo Baby Sitter
we hardly use ours. brendan likes beiing able to sit up in it, but he will only sit in it for about 5 minutes and he's always trying to chew on the piece that goes between the legs so he's all slumped over. it's ridiculous!
