Crashing... Need input on if this is ok to do

My sister and her DH had been trying for 2 years to get pg. Recently started fertility treatments and finally got her BFP Chat Icon With that said, she does have a thin uterus from the medication she wass on so she is still worried about everything. She literally just found out so she is not out of the woods yet. I do still want her to enjoy this time and be able to do the things I did when I first found out I was pg. I was at the store this weekend and couldn't help but pick up a card and pregnancy mag for her. Is it too soon to send it to her? I'm just so excited for her and want her to enjoy every minute but I also think about what if she were to lose the baby. Please offer some advice on what you think is ok.

Everyone's experience is very different so you will get different answers. If you guys are very close, it would probably be a nice gesture, a small way to "celebrate" while she is still nervous.
When I was about 5 weeks pregnant, my best friend (who know our story) gave me a pair of socks that had a carriage on them and said Mommy-to-be....I wore them to each and every sono I had (which was a lot!!) including the first one at 6 weeks when we saw the heartbeat. They became my lucky socks, LOL. Had things not worked out so well, well it was a nice gesture on her part, her way to be supportive and to celebrate with me so early on. That being said, I had the attitude of I might be pregnant for 5 minutes, 5 weeks, 5 months, or I might get a take home baby...but I tried to enjoy every minute of it b/c I WAS very aware of what *could* happen at any moment. Was i stresse and nervous? Of course!! But I took every minute as a victory. So, again, if you are close I say go for it.

I think its a nice gesture. I was very nervous and superstitious (still am to an extent) about buying things for myself but gladly accepted gifts from others.

I think its a great idea bc its not something "for" the baby. If, god forbid, something happened I would think a magazine is a lot easier to part with then the reminder of something tiny and cute for the baby.
