Has anyone here ever gotten ringworm? Photo of the bite/rash
Odd question but i fell asleep on my couch two nights ago (I was congested and it helped me sleep). We have super high mold counts and my allergies have been driving me crazy!
Anyway.. woke up to a 'blister' on my arm. it bothered me so I put some aquafor on it. During the day it was irritating and I scratched it and it was painful so I put band aid on it.
Now I'm looking at it again thinking "what is this thingie?"
It makes me wonder if its ringworm. Hubby thinks its a spider bite (rain makes them more active, right?) but I haven't seen any spiders.
I've kept it covered but here's a photo of it.
I 'could' got to the doctor but this week is my last week at work. So taking time off would be beyond difficult. I guess I could do urgent care (walk ins) and use up my FSA I still need to spend.

Could be ringworm but it also Looks a little like impetigo... Is it oozing? Kinda hard to see with that pic.

yeah that kinda does look like ring worm. I had it once when i was in high school from sitting on the wrestling mats in gym class.

I had ring worm and it literally looked like a circle made out of a rash. I battled it for a year with different prescribed lotions. Such a nightmare.
After all that, what finally worked was tea tree oil!

no oozing. Just a burning itch from time to time.. nothing more than just annoying tho in a level of pain or itch.

I've seen ringworm a couple times and I remember it being bigger, with the center being the same as the rest of the skin, and the circle was very clearly defined.

This sounds like an eczema/psoriasis symptom. I get it in random patches like that. I was told change in weather, stress, or an environment reaction could bring it out.
I get it in random small places like my ring finger, and the scalp line in the back of my neck.
The aquaphor or Eucerin lotion could help, or a prescription cream if it gets worse.

Here is a pic of ringworm that looks similar to what you have..although it can be larger and the border more definitive, your pic looks like there is a border to the circle...although my son gets eczema once in a while in small circles similar to that too..

I'm not a doc but I don't know if that is ringworm. I have had it 2x in recent years. It's usually a round/ring rash with a pin prick sized dot in the middle. A doc can prescribe ointment.

I had something similar that started spreading around my body. It was small dry patches. I went to the walk-in clinic and they said it was ringworm so I used the cream they prescribed but it wasn't going away. I ended up going to the dermatologist and she said it was psoriasis. Mine looked similar to that but it started spreading.. IE I had one big circle and small circles around it. I waited about a month before I saw a doctor so I think it gave it enough time to spread. 
ETA: NEVERMIND!!! It was def pityrasis roscea that I had! I couldn't remember the name! LOL.

I actually think it's called a herald patch. It's the first part of a secondary infection to a virus. If I'm right, it'll morph into a rash over a lot of your body - nothing that can hurt you, just annoy you. It's called pityrasis roscea. No one else can catch it and once you have it, you'll never get it again. Google it, you'll see what I'm talking about

Yes! This is exactly what I had! LOL Couldn't remember the name! I got misdiagnosed as ringworm at first!

Rashes are so hard to diagnose, if it doesn't go away or if it spreads I would go see a doctor.
