its funny how life can knock you back into reality
I'm 32 and in the process of building a career. I keep saying to dh well if we get pregnant have a summer baby that's not good for my job. Well I just got a wake up call one of my friends was just diagnosed with breast cancer and she is only 32 and has to have a double mastectamy and bc of other issues may never have kids. And here I am worrying about the small stuff.
I feel like I was just smacked in the head and told to just enjoy life bc you never really know how long you have.

oh dear God first off a million prayers for your friend. I live by the motto there is no time like the present. You just never know what you are going to be dealt in life and sometimes you are not able to plan your future. LIVE NOW Do whats best for you jobs come and go and opportunities can arise at anytime in life. Babies are miracles and if you are ready now START NOW

We have been actively ttc for the last 3 months this just put things into perspective for me to stop worrying.

Many  for your friend! We've had a few moments like this too where you realize that your troubles could be so much worse. Life's too short to spend it worrying over the what-ifs when you just don't know what tomorrow will bring.

it sucks that it takes something like that to make you remember what is truely important in life and what is not. I feel like I get knocked on my asss back to reality often.
