PAINT COLOR
OK - my painter needs to know ASAP a color for my living room - WHAT DO I PIC.....
I want a earthly color - My couch is aztec - with burgundly, blue, goldy colors - its not forever furniture but will stay awhile...

The tan in this picture is called Greenbrier Beige by Benjamin Moore.

Does that beige havea pink/peachy hue to it? I am looking fora color in the taupe/beige family but I don't want a pink hue to it. Thanks.

no, I don;t think so .. I don't think it has any pinkiness to it at all. But if I were you, I'd buy a color sample from Benjamin Moore to check. I think it's tan-tan-tan ... no pink undertone --- but I have it above a red color it may throw off my perception of it.

On the same strip of color with the greenbrier beige are two other colors - one is manchester tan and I forget the other but I've used them in my house and they're definitely not pink at all.
If you're looking for a gold color try Chestertown Buff - I did it in my family room and it looks fabulous.

I'm looking at the Greenbrier Beige right now and it looks like a brown undertone. I hope that helps.
