Re: Raymour and Flanigan

Couch and love seat.
At the time, we were specifically in search of a pullout couch that converts to a queen bed. They had a great selection.

Raymour and Flanigan

Dining room table and chairs which we aren't thrilled with after 3 years. This year we bought a reclining couch and recliner but they are the lazboy brand.

I also have a dining room set (with china cabinet and a buffet) but I can't find a picture of it.

I love everything EXCEPT the kitchen table. It's sh*t. The table started to scratch and peel very quickly. We have a warranty so we called them and they sent a repairman to fix it. The repairman asked if the table ever gets wet? Um, yea it's a kitchen table it has gotten wet from time to time Chat Icon. Not like I pour water all over it or anything. He told me that the table shouldn't get wet. He then sanded it and spray painted it and did a piss poor job of it. Another repairman came out and said himself the table was crap and that he could do the same thing but it wouldn't last long. So for now, thank God for tablecloths Chat Icon. We have been pleased with all the other furniture though.

I love the living room set. What type of couch material would go good in a formal living room?

I think it's really personal preference but our couches are microfiber and I LOVE it! I have 2 kids (ages 4 and 1.5) and the sofas still look great. We probably got them about 5 years ago or so and they are so easy to clean. If my kids ever spill anything I just take a baby wipe and it wipes clean. Although we don't have a formal LR set, when I put some decorative accent pillows (and it's not covered in toys) it looks pretty nice to me! Chat Icon

We have the chaise from the Cindy Crawford collection bc we preferred it over the chaise that was part of the collection we got. it is ridiculously comfortable (dh instantly falls asleep on it, lol) but it is BIG!

We have this couch and after only 6 years the cushions have come apart at the seams! Normal wear nothing crazy. We had the protection plan but all they would do is stitch it back up which looked awful. I loved this couch when we first got it but would never get it again. Hope you have better luck with yours!

Re: Raymour and Flanigan

We bought a buffet/bar from them.

Little story... We decided to have them load it in our car and bring it in the house ourselves. It fit in the back of our CRV, how heavy could it be right?

We got it home and I could NOT lift it up 3 steps. I'm pretty strong so I was surprised. Our neighbor helped and the three of us got it inside. I never realized how heavy good quality furniture really was!

I have this set. Quality is poor, and I am not happy with their customer service. I will never buy from them again.

Re: Raymour and Flanigan

We have the marsala living room set which we love (sofa, recliner, love seat). I also have a dining set (table, 6 chairs, china cabinet) which I love, but has not held up as well The screws on the table/chairs are constantly loose.
