My grandparents are buried at Pinelawn and we used the Bonwit Inn in Commack.
Sorry for your loss.

Palmers in farmingdale - you can take Hempstead Tpke west, just maybe 5 minutes away, great food.
Bella Napoli in Farmingdale - can take 109(aka Fulton st) west, its right on that road.

Sorry for your loss.

I second Palmer's. We went there after a funeral and it was very nice/intimate.

Sorry for your loss....
There's colonial spring golf course - lunch is great reasonable and you don't have to be a member.
Black Forrest Brew Haus - They have a nice room, food is okay but its never crowded for lunch
Cirella's - Just drive up pinelawn road and make a left on 110 Italian, small, but if you call ahead they can probably accomodate you
Bella Napoli on Rt 109 in Farmingdale, just west of 110.
You also have the chain places like Houlihans, Ruby Tuesdays on Rt 110 if you're looking for quick and inexpensive....

Re: restaurants near pinelawn cemetery?
sorry for not getting on sooner to say thanks for all these suggestions! i really appreciate it....it's been an emotional and exhausting couple of weeks. we ended up going to pomodorinos in seaford. they did a nice job --- put together a big u shaped table for our group and we ended up being pretty much the only people in there.
i am saving these other recommendations though as my grandma will (hopefully in a long time from now) be buried there too and we will likely do the same sort of after - meal.
thanks again!
