Triphasic Chart
Anybody have one???
This is the first month I started temping, but I'm definitely seeing a triphasic pattern emerging. I know in some cases it can mean PG, but some people just have triphasic cycle.
In the world of happy thoughts, when should I test? Today is 9DPO. I really don't think I can hold out until Saturday for 14DPO.

Re: Triphasic Chart
How would it be tripjasic then? i thought you have to wait your normal LP length. If I was you i would have already tested though! You could probably get a pos,. on CD 11 if you were PG.

How would it be tripjasic then?
Pre-O temps range 96.8-97.26 Post-O temp range for 1DPO-6DPO 97.47-97.51 Post-O temp range for 7DPO-9DPO 97.8-98.12
Note the .3 jump (which has remained) between 6DPO & 7DPO.
As per TCOYF this second .3 jump indicates triphasic cycle.

Re: Triphasic Chart
this is what fertility friend said about the triphasic chart:
A triphasic chart shows three levels of temperatures: pre-ovulation, post-ovulation, and then a second rise around 7-10 days after ovulation. Some women with charts that show this pattern turn out to be pregnant. But many do not. Likewise, your chart does not need to show this kind of pattern for you to be pregnant. Whether or not you are pregnant, progesterone, the hormone responsible for raising your temperature after ovulation, generally peaks in the middle of your luteal phase and this can cause this kind of pattern whether or not you are pregnant.
A triphasic chart can be promising, however, because progesterone levels generally increase after implantation (7-10 days past ovulation) in conception cycles, and sometimes this results in a triphasic pattern. If your chart shows a second significant thermal shift that begins 7-10 days past ovulation, Fertility Friend will indicate a triphasic pattern in the Pregnancy Monitor. A triphasic chart, however, is not a definite sign that you are or are not pregnant. It is just increasing your probability if you also have well-timed intercourse. Likewise, you can be pregnant and not have a triphasic pattern. Like all signs of possible implantation or pregnancy, you can really only speculate about it once a pregnancy has already been confirmed.

In order for you to have triphasic chart you need two dipps and then a raise just like in this chart......
note dipps on CD20 and CD 25Image Attachment(s):

Re: Triphasic Chart
it sounds triphasic to me. i looked at a lot of the charts in ff chart gallery and yours sounds just like them. that second jump could just be a jump for no reason, or.... the beginning of implantation. I'm keepin my fingers crossed for you!! You were totally there for me when i was freaking out last month! hold off to test as long as you can.

Thanks. Because everyone swears by FF, I entered all my data to see what would pop out. According to them it is indeed triphasic. I ran a search for triphasic charts and found that people with a coverline as low as mine seem to have triphasic cycles. But I'm going to keep my hopes up, and try to hold off until at leat 10DPO before testing!

Best laid plans . . . I tested this morning . . . BFN. I don't even know why I bothered since I had a sharp temp drop (.4) although it is still above the coverline. Now I am in fact holding out until Saturday before I even think about POAS.
