Police investigate two deaths in different locations in Coram

Suffolk County police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two people discovered Monday at separate crime scenes about a mile apart in Coram.
Citing the continuing investigation, police would not say if the cases are connected.
Police were alerted to the first case in a 911 call at 8:05 a.m., reporting a body found in the parking lot of an apartment on Brookwood Drive.
A second call, at 9:20 a.m., notified police of a body found in a vehicle on Coram-Sweezeytown Road.
Investigators would not immediately say if the victims were male or female and would not say how they are believed to have died. Police would only say investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the two deaths Monday.

the road was still blocked off by the apartment complex at 6pm.
