If the house in on Bishop to the right off of Broadway(in the cul-di-sac) you don't want it. They are all trying to sell because of serious water/sewage issues. To the left of broadway is fine Chat Icon HTH!! Parkland,Somerset and New England Village are all great neighborhoods with great schools!!

I was just going to say this.
I work with a woman who lives on that side of Bishop.
The houses are all beautiful to look at but GOOD LORD- she is in hell.
She had to have her house jacked up off the foundation and her basement raised.
It's a mess.
Flooding like crazy.

The other side of Bishop- across Broadway is ok though.

We looked at a house on Bishop and then thankfully someone told us about this issue! We ended buying a house in a court on the other side of Broadway.

Aside from this issue the area is great!

Thank you so much guys. You really helped me. I kept saying why don't I love this house if it had everything I want. But something just didn't sit right with me. I asked my realtor about flooding because I saw the hill behind the house and the building that they said housed water from the apartments. My realtor asked the neighbor about flooding and she said no she leaved that since 2007 and had no problems only the people down by cul-de-sac did. I am just glad I asked and now I can move on. Can't thank you guys enough for the honesty. But I am still looking in the area, I really like it. Please let me know if you know of any homes.

Thanks again.

It was actually on News 12 a few years back. The residents were trying to get the town to step in and help.
Huge mess. Something about the water tables being too high over there or something. Either way- you don't want to get involved in that mess!
I know of a realtor who sells a TON of homes in the area and is very very good.
FM me if you want her info.

It's the cul-de-sac. On the left side off of BroadWay if you are heading towards Vets. On the right side if you are heading toWards Patch-Holbrook Rd.
