Re: Disney Cruise?

I have been on 5!! None recently so they were on the "older" ships. I have to say that they were all incredible! Ships were great. Food was great. One if the restaurants is amazing! The staff is incredible. And the kids programs are great, at all ages. HTH

Quick Question for you- what's the dining situation like? Do you have pick a specific time each night to eat dinner? Or is it more "go with the flow"?

Re: Disney Cruise?

I've been fortunate enough to have cruised all of the major mass-market cruise lines, and my experience is Disney is right near the top.

They do a fantastic job with everything from dining to entertainment, and as someone mentioned already, the staff is first rate.

While we loved the Wonder and Magic, we are very much looking forward to the Dream. My wife will be representing our agency on the 2nd saling, January 30th, then we will be going as a family on the February 13th sailing.

The Dream is heavily booked from March through September, with many of the inside and oceanview staterooms sold out. This is due not only to her being a brand new ship, but the Magic will be in Europe for the summer which makes the Dream the only Disney ship on the east coast during that period.

Whatever you end up choosing, you cannot go wrong with a Disney cruise!

Re: Disney Cruise?

I have been on many cruises on the major cruise lines and the 2 Disney Cruises I went on WERE THE BEST!!!! Great service, food, entertainment, on board activities and soooo clean! I cannot wait until I can take my children and enjoy the experience as a parent! They also have their own private island that you visit for a day and the place is amazing - so much fun (and all the characters are in bathing suits...too cute Chat Icon ) If you are able to afford it, do it! Their new ships look AMAZING!!!

You have a set time for dinner. They have three restaurants, at least on the older ships. Each night you rotate to a new restaurant. Your wait staff goes with you. It's a great system. Plus, they always have a bit of a "show" during dinner so I don't think they could do it any other way.
