would you paint your little girls nursery blue?
We are using the nursery bedding we had for dd #1 ill try and post a picture. It's lady bug paisley. It's salmon,dark pink, baby pink, off white, baby blue, and sage green.
I'm getting a wall decal of a tree with pink flowers and I'm not one for peptobismol over load so I was thinking of going with a light blue wall color. Any thoughts? DH thinks I'm nuts!

I would but then again if I have a girl I will most likely not be using pink at all. I don't look at blue as just a boy color

I defintely would....we actually thought of doing this because the room is painted an ice blue now and we only painted it 2 years ago and the room wasnt even used. I just can't find any bedding that I like that goes with this color or I definitely would. I am not one for a pepto room either

Just got back from buying paint for our nursery. We got a light teal/aqua color. I'm all for the non-traditional.
I think blue walls with the decal you described would look awesome.

i like the idea, its not like you've got baeball & football decals everywhere. the girls bedding has blue in it so i'd use something similar to that blue even if its just 2 shades lighter or darker.

Best part about the bedding is it comes with paint colors. So I can match the blue exactly!

I looved the color!!!! Exactly the feel I'm going for! So cute
Thank you!! Also, idk what/where you are getting your wall decal but mine are from AC Moore and were sooooo easy to put on and take off to reposition. They had a nice selection.

I will-if this baby is a girl, I'm doing aqua and pink. Aqua walls and pink satin-y drapes, a cherry blossom decal similar to the one you posted and this picture (my inspiration):
Of course, since I know exactly how I want to decorate a girl room, I am 90% sure this baby will be a boy
