Reading this story it's amazing more people were not hurt or killed. It's sad about the possibilty of suicide though.

Well I am sure they weren't in their right mind anyone who actually commits the act is not really thinking about things like that right or wrong .I am sure that is not the first thing that came to mind...I am sure there was no deliberate harm intended

actually, my dad was in that area today and he said it was a horrible boom....i guess the rumor is that man was going through a divorce and he didn't want the wife to get the place, so he blew it up.

There is an underlying problemhere people just don't do this for the sole purpose of being selfish and nopt wanting to give the peoperty does anyone comprehend the amount of insanity that went through his mind ... I don't think it was meant to hurt people

I agree that he is insane, but I do believe he wanted to hurt his ex wife emotionally by doing this.
My mom has tried to commit suicide 4 times in the last 5 years and is now living in a nursing home at the age of 55 yrs old (to make sure she does not try again). People who try to commit suicide are self centered and totally absorbed in their own stuff.
I believe my mom wanted to hurt my dad for leaving her (by using guilt if she died) and this moron was doing the same thing. He needs help, I agree but he needs to be held responsible for his actions IMHO.

Oh yeah he does .. I just was trying to say i don't think his intentions were to alot of peoplw and the self absorbed self centered part is part of a sickness not a choice .

I don't know if I agree totally. From what I have seen and experienced, I do think part of it is a choice part of it a sickness. My mom chose to take a bunch of pills even though she had me, my DH, my brother, his wife and a granddaughter on the way. Her passive/aggressive revenge on my dad was more important to her than her kids who loved and cared about her. She chose to take the pills, even after we tried to get her the help she needed.
What I have learned is that all the help in the world will not rehabilitate someone who is dead set on killing themselves. My mom has been to about 8 different mental hospitals and has seen tons of "specialists" and believe me when I tell you, suicide is a choice.

It was not her choice to be mentally ill , it is a choice however to get help but sometime people are so sick they don't even knoe how much and a far as a suicide being a choice I don't agree I (have lost 2 people to this ) It was a necessity they felt they had no other option so until we are backed up into that corner of dispair I can't say they choose that with a sound mind therefore .. it was not their choice .. about your mom
