Got my jeans from iclothes.com-- or whatever the URL is
So I picked up my package from the PO just now.. The company is based in Hong Kong so the shipping was like 17 bucks..
Anyway-- the jeans say Citizens in like 3 different places-- internal and external. They fit well-- and appear to be like the other pairs Citizens jeans/cords that I have-- but since they are a slighly different style-- it's hard to say if they are real or not, but the material does not seem as rich as the other jeans I have-- but then again, it can be cause it's a different style.
Either way- I paid 59 bucks for them and if I didn't have to pay that shipping-- it would be a good price for cute jeans that fit well.

Re: Got my jeans from iclothes.com-- or whatever the URL is
yeah- I mean I only bought them cause I thought they would fit well and they did-- I could care less if they were real or not-- unless I paid $$$ for them. It's the least I have spent on a pair of jeans in a looong time-- so, that's the way I look at it-- I am just happy that they look ok!

Re: Got my jeans from iclothes.com-- or whatever the URL is
them being based in HK makes sense if they are buying directly from the factories- over runs that buyers in the US don't take - or ones that are rejected for small defects?

Re: Got my jeans from iclothes.com-- or whatever the URL is
well- they could be left at the factory and never were shipped-- then they go the distressed inventory route and sell to buyers like Saks off 5th and places like that-- which I guess, this web site could fall into.
I would recco it for someone who knows a brand/style that they like-- and is looking for a deal-- there is no way to tell if it's real-- although they do go to strides to make it look authentic.

Re: Got my jeans from iclothes.com-- or whatever the URL is
factories also run 24 hours a day- so if they need to make something- maybe they just keep making jeans- and then sell them themselves
which I can't see how this is legal? but it's also not legal to see knock offs and say it's the real thing
and I don't see why any company would want to keep doing business with these factories if they are selling there product to the US with out the middle man- I just don't get it
but enjoy the jeans- still a great price
