HI everyone, I am back from vacation and have all my test results

HOpe all of you had a great Thanksgiving. We really needed our getaway. We got back late Sat. night and yesterday was my big consult appt with my RE.

Well here goes,

Dh's SA came back good- 2.1 vol
53mil count
72% motility

my FSH is 8.3 ,
but he found 2 issues that can can be corrected.

THe dr. feels that I have a short luteal phase ( deficient) and he can correct that with medicine.

Issue #2- I have 2 factors that contribute to Thrombophilia.
He feels with baby aspirin or blood thinners that can be rectified.

Issue #3 - He showed us my HSG pics and how my uterus pulls to the right. During that test it was determined that my tubes are open, however,ne needs to double check my ovaries and tubes on the right side because of the way they are laying. I told him I always had a tilted uterus but he needs to make sure that there is not any extra tissue causing a problem because in the piture he was not able to see clearly my tubes as things are kind of pulling to the right and maybe a little overlapped.
He may have to clean some stuff out depending on what he sees. IF I have endometriosis we will go to IVF.

He told us based on his experience he feels confident that I will be able to get pregnant and have a baby.

I am now scheduled for a laprascopy ( exploratorty suregery through your belly button) on December 8th.

I also recieved my Rubella shot yesterday so I am hold TTC because of that as well.

I am really happy that I waited no longer to start this process. I am very confident in the dr's experience and abilites. I am also thankful to have all of this information and see there may be a silver lining @ the end of all of this.

I still feel a little frustrated and am sick of waiting. I am happy to have the answers I was looking for

ETa- if any of you have any experience with any of this please share, I am always encouraged by the level of knoweledge on these boards-

Sounds like a good prognosis! I have an inherited thrombolphilia-the one thing I can say is try to get on the lovenox from the day after you O until either a BFP or AF comes-my specialist said waiting for a pos. PG test can often be too late. Also you can take baby asprin with Lovenox as they do two different things(ask your Dr of course) I have also heard good things about evening primrose oil and fish oil. I ordered mine from Nordic Naturals. B vitamins helped to increase my LP by about two days(b6 and b12) good luck!! You should ask for a prescription for Folgard or metanx which is high dose folic acid and B6 and B12.

I don't have any advice as I have no experience with any of your issues. I will say that it sounds like your doctor is being very thorough AND proactive, so you should be on your way to a healthy pregnancy very soon!

Thanks Melijane, I am sorry you have the same or similiar condition but I appreciate your suggestions and will speak to the dr about them after my surgery.

I was bummed about having to wait longer but am now feeling better and happier that things are starting to come together.

Wow sounds like your Dr is thorough. Lap isn't too bad, I had one last July, one thing to be aware of is that you may get some pain in your shoulder afterwards as whilst they are in your belly having a look around they put some gas in to extend it so they can get a good look, and they will tell you, but sometimes that gas can cause shoulder pain afterwards (don't exactly know why) But it really isn't bad.

Wow! I dont want to say congrats - but from what you've said, the dr thinks/feels that all of those things can be corrected and you CAN have a baby - so CONGRATS on getting your answers and now working towards having your little baby! I wish you much luck!!
