Did anyone see the "View " yesterday?

They had a special on US adoption from children in the foster care system. They had their pictures taken by professional photographers and they were displaying the children that were waiting to be adopted. They said that adoptions have increased since they started doing that and some of the photographers had adopted some of the children after doing their photo shoot. They said those pictures may have been the only time they had their picture taken except for a polaroid for their case file. I was hysterical! It was a wonderful show. I wish my husband was open to the idea. I would love to adopt an older child and give them a loving home.

It was an amazing episode! I watched it late last night (I DVR it) and got very teary eyed when the little girl was asked about the best part of being adopted is having a safe place to live.

I know. I loved that big teddy bear looking kid from Texas. The one they gave the laptop and tickets to "Rent".
Those 2 little blond girls with the male couple looked like little models! I loved their hair.
