Im running my first race tomorrow....
since the marathon. The NYRR Holiday 5 miler. It's actually the first time I will be running in 4 weeks!!  
Next weekend is the NYRR Hot Chocolate 15K (9 miles)...anyone interested in doing this?

i'm running the 5 miler tomorrow too with my hubby. we haven't trained at all. we'll see how goes... i'm just looking forward to the hot chocolate and bagels at the end  good luck, hope you have a great race!

Honestly, I don't really travel into city to much.
But if you ever come out to Eastern LI for a race let me. I mostly run the races at east on LI.
Are you doing the newsday 1/2 marathon?

How did it go? The weather was great...I had a lot of fun even though my injuries are still nagginig me...oh well.
I made a mistake the hot chocolate 15k is 2 weeks from today.

It's hard because I don't have a car..so I really don't run races on LI. I will occasionally if people from my team are doing it or if they are right by a train station.
Im not ready for a half marathon yet. I have this nagging hip injury...some tendonitis right in the joint and a similar problem with my achilles...so just running 2-3 miles a few times a week and will do the 15k. After that...very little running till the end of January!

sorry you have so many injuries. that stinks. although this was one of my worst races ever time-wise, i felt really good during it and amazingly wasn't sore after. so i'm pleased with it. good luck with hot chocolate race. i won't be racing again until february probably, i want to see how much i can improve between now and then.
