Sucessfully freezing food without a food saver?
I have tons of company coming..and a new baby. I would love to have some meals in the freezer now. I don't have a food saver though..does anyone sucessfully freeze cooked meals? what's your method?

I always freeze meals and I have never even been in the same room as a food saver! I use those foil containers with the paper tops, or just plain old ziploc bags!! I make tons and tons of babyfood and freeze it in those little throwaway tupperwares!

any rubbermaid/ziploc/gladware that says freezer safe.
Freezer bags
Glad makes press N Seal Freezer safe as well. You can always double up by using this, then into a ziploc freezer bag
I do it ALL the time in the containers.

thanks!! I think I am going to start this. I have so much company coming, I won't want to cook...but I also like a clean kitchen, so maybe this will cut down on that mess.
