My Fish...
...died this afternoon.
I can't believe how sad I am about this. I cried for over an hour.
We had Perri for almost 2 years. DH bought him for me when I finished my Master's degree.
He was the most spoiled fish you can imagine - we did everything we could to keep him happy while we had him. He had everything a fish could possibly want.

I am so sorry
I feel you. DH has a 55 gallon tank w/many fish and I really loved one particular fish in there. He was so mellow. He died a few months ago and I cried. I still get sad every time I look at the tank and he is not in there.

I get so sad when one of my fish die, also. I love them! I'm sorry for your loss.
The other day I brought home two new fish. I put them in the tank and everything was all well and good. The next morning they vanished!
I can't believe they got eaten by the other fish! I was so upset!

Thanks for the everyone -
I know it seems so silly to get upset over a fish, but he really was like a member of the family. We uesd to leave a full page of detailed instructions when we left him with someone if we went away and he used to jump op and tap our fingers when we went to feed him. He would only do that with DH or myself, not with anyone else.
Last night I was sitting in our living room where his tank was and it was so quiet without the filter on - started tearing up all over again.
I think we're going to wait a while before we get anything else.

I am so sorry Vanessa. I remember how upset I was too when my fish died. I had him for 4 yrs. DH won him for me on one of our first dates

i had a fish for 10 years, i was really sad when it died. i was able to hand feed it.
what kind of fish was it?
