very upset right now...
I'm due on Thursday...on strict bedrest...not progressing at all and my husband just calls me and says..."i'm having drinks with some people after work, I'll be home in a little while, call me if you need me." So I say..."do you still want dinner (I planned on cooking) ??and he says "no, I'm eating right now."
I'm sitting at my desk crying because the baby doesn't seem to want to come out and my husband is having drinks?????? AND thanks for letting me eat alone!! What if something happens? The last thing I need is a partner who has "had drinks" driving me to the hospital...nevermind that I'm so angry right now.
Sorry to vent...I'm just really upset.

I'm so sorry. I felt the same way towards the end of my pregnancy, when I was home and DH was living it up with his friends. Just try to think about how in a few days you'll be holding your little soon!

Ugggh men just don't get it sometimes. Maybe you could just order in something tasty for yourself and relax. Try not to get too mad and get your BP up.

Try not to stress. It's not good for the little one. I think you have a right to be mad. I don't think men realize what they are doing sometimes!!

I'm telling you, they are just another breed! Hang in there! When my water broke last week at 8:30pm, my husband said he had to run out to the stores to get dog food! I could of killed him, they just don't think!!!hug:
If you go into labor in the next few hrs, sign-on and post that you;re in labor, an one of us girls on LIF will come get you!!!

I'm sorry you have to deal with this, but like everyone said take care of yourself and try not to stress. My husband hasn't gotten home before 9:45 for the last month and I am only 20 weeks and am upset...I can't even imagine if I were a few days from my due date! Hang in there!
