Ok-- I want hair help too!

I am like totally sick of my hair--- it's straight, parted in the middle and I feel like I am ready for a change. I have very subtle layers in the front-- but that's about it.

The thing is- my hair MUST be parted in the middle, as I havw a cowlick and am unable to part any other way. I also like it long-- but sometimes I feel like it's too long. ETA-- I also have a round face, and a little face too-- pea head syndrome Chat Icon

Here are some relatively recent pics...

Re: Ok-- I want hair help too!

You have gorgeous hair!!! How about doing some layers? You can keep it long but layered and have a part at side or you can do a bang.

The real challenge is the part-- that Aniston 'do is a side part-- which is not humanly possible with my hair. Chat Icon

First of all, you are beautiful.

I love your hair as it is. Do you have to blow dry it straight or does it dry naturally?

Regarding a change, I would say long layers.

thanks-- you guys are all so sweet! You should see me right now after being out last night and sitting in my pjs all day in the same spot on the couch Chat Icon

In those pics-- they were both at weddings, and one I had my hair blown out and the other I used my straightner- but it's only to get it really sleek. My hair is natuarally straight and I have a lot of hair, but it's fine-- so it actually dries pretty quickly-- I don't use a brush and can get it dry in about 10 mins. It's low maintenance and I love that-- and definitely could not handle anything that required actual work.

I think your hair looks great the way it is...I agree with Bella though..you can totally pull off the bang look...the kind that go infront of your forehead...

I like it the way it is. The Jennifer Aniston pic is a good idea, too. Or just wear it up for a while for a change.

I agree with the Jennifer Aniston long layered look. It can also work parted down the middle, just make the shortest layers longer than your chin.

Also, if you like, you can add some subtle highlights around the face area to accentuate the cut.

I do already have some long layers-- and ones right around my chin-- I guess the only thing I can really do is add more-- but, it doesn't really *change* my hair-- not that I want a drastic change-- I am just bored- but even when I get a trim, i think my hair looks different Chat Icon

bangs. they grow out fast. i got mine a month ago and they are too long already so i am wearing them back. i also wear a headband and sometimes i take the pieces and pin them back.

its an easy way to give yoursdelf style and if you dont like it, it grows out soo fast. if you do like it you can maintain them yourself

I was just going to say this.
I got them 2 weeks ago. I love them.

If you get them thin, you can easily brush them to the side.

You have AMAZING hair by the way!!!

Maybe have "chunked" layers. It is a more styled look. Lemme see if I can find pics.

I love your hair, and I am sure anything will be great. Maybe some layers will be the change you are looking for?
