For those who's belly buttons popped..

Was it painful? My belly button seems to be slowly disappearing & it hurts a bit. I just wanted to know if this was normal.

Some say it is painful, I haven't experienced any discomfort other than a little tenderness. The skin there is very soft and it gets very itchy, other than that I've had no pain. Some of my friends could barely touch that area - so I guess everyone is different.

My mom said that with my sister, her belly button was so painful once it popped that it hurt to even have clothing brush against it.

The joys!!!

Mine's been out for a while, but only hurts occasionally. Mostly while the baby is doing some strange kind of movements.
