After an accident last september I used a exercise (medicine) ball to do some exercises at physical therapy, and then at home once I didn't need physical therapy anymore. I don't know much about birth balls though.

I used one when my back was hurting. I would stand up, put it between me and the wall and squat up and down.

I am going to start sitting on mine while on the computer and watching TV because my doula gave me a sheet on getting the baby into the correct position and it recommends not lounging with your feet up and well that's what I do all day now that I am home.
