Anyone making X-mas dinner this year? What is your menu?
I know I am definiteley making lasagna for the 1st course. Than a spiral ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and veggies (not sure which ones yet).

I am hosting but I had my MIL make something and DH's aunt.
So we are having:
Lasanga
Rib Roast
roasted potatoes
String Beans
salad
I might make a small eggplant parm
I also might do a soup but not sure. I would like to try something new but you really cant do that with DH's family.
I also was thiking about Yorkshire Popovers

We are sticking with the traditional:
Rib of Beef
Roast Potatoes
Yorkshire Puddings
Sprouts in Chestnut Bacon Butter
Braised Carrots & Onions
Yummy Lovely Gravy
Stuffing
Really Traditional Sausages wrapped in Bacon...its a carnivores feast!
and for pudding......drumroll please
STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING

We're not having family over this year, but last weekend we had a bunch of our friends.
We had:
Turkey w/ gravy
Sweet Potatoes w/pecans (a friend made them)
Cranberry Sauce
Sesame Green Beans
Baked Ziti
Salad
Two other friends brought dessert--red velvet cake and an apple pie--yum!

This is the first year that I am solely making christmas dinner...what do you think of this menu:
Roast Chicken in Lemon-Rosemary marinade
Garlic mashed potatos
sting beans w/ baby bella mushrooms
Apple pie for desert
It's only DH and I this year, so I think it will be enough
