ok- let's talk about drinking water

I used to drink tons of water- but then my life changed alittle- then I got a new job and I felt like CRAP

and I realized why- I stopped drinking so much water- yesterday and today I starting drinking tons of water again- and I feel like a new person

my DH - who up until a month ago NEVER drank water- only sugary fruit juices and Ice tea- he started drinking water- and he is a new person

water is amazing- I know they have new studies out saying all this other stuff counts as water- but after seeing the difference in my DH and feeling it in myself- there is no subsitute!

I just wanted to share- and give a little PSA

Re: ok- let's talk about drinking water

I've never really been a big water drinker, but I've been trying to be better about it. I've started using those Crystal Light On the Go packets (Iced Tea) to help me get my water consumption up. I don't know if it matters that it's not "pure" water, but I figured something was better than nothing!

I really started drinking more water last April.

I gave up diet soda (which was so hard for me) and now I drink seltzer or water instead.

Isn't crazy how simple and whole foods and beverages are so good for you? I lost sight of that for a while.

not to rain on your parade- but watch the fake sugar in crystal lite- it gave me really bad stomach aches- try lemon juice for flavor

( I was drinking a ton of crystal lite)

Totally agree...water is amazing. A few years ago by the end of the work day I would be dizzy, lethargic, and have this glazed over feeling....and couldnt figure it out. Someone mentioned my symptoms sounded like dehydration. Wouldn't you know it, I started drinking 2 liters of water during the work day and poof...I was cured!

Glad you and Jake are feeling better! Chat Icon

That's awesome. I drink water all day and I gave up soda years ago. I can totally feel the difference when I don't have enough water each day; my skin even looks better when I've had enough.

Re: ok- let's talk about drinking water

Water definitely makes a difference. There are so many benefits.'

I can definitely tell when my body is hydrated. I also like the feeling that the more water I drink, the more toxins flush out of my system.

Me too & at home we mainly drink seltzer. The only time I find myself reaching for diet soda is when I have pizza. Somehow water & pizza doesn't do it for me.
