Anyone know of a charity for dresses?
I heard there's a charity that takes formal dresses and gives them to girls who can't afford a prom dress. Does anyone know what the organization is called?

I've donated my old dresses in the past. They do it in early April usually. I can't remember the name, but they have a few drop of locations. If I remember I'll post it.

Last year I volunteered collecting dresses for the Prom Boutique and I know we are doing it again this year. Dates haven't been announced yet, but it is usually in April when they collect. And last year they had 2 dates one at Nassau Colliseum and another at a church for girls to get dresses. As soon as I find out the date, I will post it.

I just found out that the collection of dresses will be on Sunday, April 15, 1-3 pm at the JLLI Thrift Shop in Roslyn.
The Junior League Thrift Shop

I think that is what it is called. It has Friendly's and Jani's in the same strip mall.
