Does it bother you if people ask you
if you nursed or not? I think it's a personal question for strangers or mere acquaintances to ask but I don't quite know what to answer without sounding snotty. I don't mind if other new moms or pg women are asking even if they are strangers but sometimes even men ask -- why do they need to know?
The truth is I feel like most people are just asking because they want to judge you one way or the other. I dunno...it's kinda like what I do with my boobs is my business when it comes to strangers. Am I being too defensive or does anyone else feel this way?
Anyone have a polite response to this question?

It bothered me a lot. I actually had someone say I was cheating because I stopped nursing. I never knew how to react to the question. Now, though, I just say I tried it and it wasn't for me and ended at that.

Yes it does bother me.... I posted last week about the lady at the mall who asked me if I'm nursing. I said "no, why?" She was like just curious. I was going to ask how it was any of her business, but DH nudged me so I wouldn't continue.
I don't understand what effect my BF'ing will have in their lives.

I think most of the time people are just making conversation. Kind of like the glorious questions about sleep. Baby doesn't do much but sleep or eat, so I'm not sure what else chit chatty people could ask to make small talk.
