Prenatal Classes
Is anyone taking prenatal exercise classes? If so, can you please tell me where you are going for them...thanks

I workout at my regular gym (Lucille Roberts) and wear a heart monitor. The instructors tell you what you can and cannot do. I don't think there are many "prenatal" exercise classes except maybe yoga.

thanks...I am having a lot of trouble finding anything...I found a prenatal yoga class, but it is only 1 day a week at 9:00 in the morning on a Saturday..i was looking for something at night a few times a week....

I workout at Fitness Incentive in Babylon Village.
On Saturday mornings they have prenatal yoga. It is great.

i think you can take prenatal yoga in east northport somewhere. i think a few of the girls on here go there.

the ymca has prenatal swimming and stroller exercises
the one in huntington is really nice and its 9 classes 45 minutes each class. the water one is good becuase its weighless and doesnt strain your body.

I was told that you can only take 1 class on Saturday morning at Fitness Incentive and then you go to the regular classes and modify what they are doing....Does anyone go every Saturday morning?

I go to Fitness Incentive every Saturday for the prenatal yoga. They have 2 different teacher who alternate. They are really good.
The other days I just do cardio and some light weights.

That's where I go...Inner Spirit Yoga in East Northport. 262-YOGA. The class is Thursday nights at 6:30-7:45 $15 per class prepaid. I LOVE IT.
