No. Actually that's my first question. I see that there are distance/online programs for court reporting and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend one (or recommend staying away from one).

I don't know about the ones on line, only the one in Commack & Flushing. This is a reputable school. I work in an attorneys office & someone here is going & was referred by some of the court reporters who come here for depositions. Apparently, it is well recognized.
