Re: Shepards pie
I've got a real easy one for you.
1 lb. ground beef 1 can peas & carrots 3 potatoes mashed, or 3 servings instant mashed potatoes.
Brown the beef, pour that in a 1 quart casserole with a little bit of w/ beef broth (as much as you like) Heat and strain the peas & carrots & pour them on top.
Put mashed potatoes on top of the pea & carrots.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, covered, then uncovered for 10-15 minutes.
BTW, traditionally, it's with leftoever lamb, but I've never made lamb, and it's just as good with ground beef. You can also add gravy (your own, or canned with extra seasoning) to moisten it up a bit.
