why oh WHY dont people return emails and phone calls if they are so desperate to find a dog a home??

FIRST there was Cooper. (see avatar) who was up for adoption who desperatly needed to find a home by the weekend (LAST weekend) or he'd be dumped in a shelter.
i contected people then the owner and she said how i'd be the best home for him and he is mine.... but then she said she is having second thoughts. this was dayssss ago and she has never returned any of my emails askig if she has made her decision.


Then i see this dog whose owner passed away and needs a home desperatly. it said "call 24/7" so i called, left a message AND emailed her a day before i called. nothing from her either!!!
this is the new girl im trying to adopt.

People can be incredibly frustrating. I put a call in about a 5 year old Lab that needed a home. I heard THREE WEEKS later! Ridiculous. Either way, i hope one of these pooches is on their way home with you!

As I had said before, we went through that with Misty. Back and forth, we want her, we have to get rid of her, no return calls for a couple of weeks. Then all of a sudden I am leaving work and I get a page, answer the phone - "How soon can you come and get her or we are taking her to the pound" DH and I went the next day to pick her up.
People are idiots and extremely selfish on top of everything.
We learned when we went to pick Misty up that she had chewed one of the woman's wallet and that was "the final straw"

I know, sometimes it is so hard to have the ridiculous amount of patience to deal with the people when adopting

i dont think is going to happen. i am not expecting it anymore. its fine. whatever.
