Why are friends rude sometimes?
So annoying.
I was talking to one of my closest friends the other day and she asked me what DH got me for Christmas. I told her I got the ring I wanted. It was the only thing I asked for.
Her: Oh - is it that David something brand with the coils?
Me: Um, yeah, the band is a cable
Her: Oh, I know what you are talking about. This jappy girl at work has a whole bunch of that stuff.
I was like OK  , of course I didnt say anything, but was that comment necessary? Sue me, I like brand name things sometimes! It doesnt make me bad person.

She's just jealous.
DH bought me and LV bag and the first day I brought it into work my co-worker was like "well I guess you're not gonna get that house you want. There's a whole mortgage payment right there."
They're just haters.

i dont think "she is just jealous", some people really see that stuff as a waste of money and cant understand how someone can spend so much on name brands.
shame on that person for the rude comment!

definitely jealous! I use to know some people who sent indirect daggers to me through conversation and it use to bother me so much. I tend to stick up for myself and give a slick answer back immediately instead of sulking. It makes me feel (slightly) better and addresses the comment immediately rather than weeks down the road.
