Stuffed Cabbage
Does anyone have a good recipe for a sweet and sour type stuffed cabbage?

this is my polish grandfather's famous recipe
1 lb chopped meat (raw)
1/2 cup cooked rice
MIX TOGETHER
Slit core of cabbage, parboil for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool. Reserve some of the water.
Pull apart leaves. Place inside a leaf a tablespoon of the meat/rice mixture. Roll like an eggroll.
Place in a pot, open side down.
Mix together:
1/4 c lemon juice
1/2 c brown sugar
1 c tomato sauce
1/4 cup raisins
Add alittle cabbage water to thin.
Cook on stove for 1-2 hours on low. The longer the better. :)
