My IUI cycle was converted to IVF
Definitely a little nervous but it looks like my inj/iui cycle is going to be converted to IVF wtih retrieval on Monday - eeeks. I really don't even know what to expect so will start reading up on it. Just yesterday I posted on how many iui cycles they would make me do before moving onto IVF! HAs anyone BTDT? I think the only add'l meds I take are the antibiotics/steroid after retrieval and the progesterone.

How many eggs do you have. You probably responded so well to the drugs that you have too many eggs to chance IUI. Good luck with your IVF. It's really not bad at all.

Thanks ladies....I want to remain cautiously optimistic that if this cycle doesn't work, they have more info for next cycle. keeping my fingers crossed it all works out ok

I dont think I have ever heard of that happening. This is great for you and must have been such a surprise. How many follies do you have?

I've heard of it quite a bit...
Each clinic has different protocols to responses
Some won't do an IUI if you produce over a certain amt of eggs b/c of the risk of multiples
