Italy for 5 days... is it worth it?
And how is the weather in Sept?
We really wanted to go to Italy for our 1-year anniv but since we are SO busy from Feb-May (weddings... 2 are in FL) it looks like we won't be able to go in June.
Now we're thinking about Sept to save some $$. Since we are already taking a lot of time off work in the beginning of the year we want to do maybe 5 days in Italy. Is that too short?
I guess we'd do two cities... either Milan & Venice or Florice & Rome.
What do you think? Any experiences would be helpful.

ive been to many cities for 5 days and if you stay in one city an really explore it, 5 days is more than enough time and sooworth it - also less expensive.
2 cities close together can work too
i did brussels brugge in 5 days. they were 2 hours apart and brugge was a great side trip

Its a long flight for 5 days but i think it would be worth it. the weather in sept is great - we just honeymooned there last sept. We went to Capri, Positano and Venice. I would highly recommend Capri! I loved it and can't wait to go back!

I went to Venice a few years ago and loved it. I think you can definately do Italy for 5 days...I know its not the same, but I did London for that amount of time and it was fine.

You can definitely do it I did Milan for about 5 days, including a side trip to Torino.
You can't go wrong with any of the cities you mentioned.
