DH agreed to IVF in the future
 I am so happy! DH agreed this week to trying IVF if our remaining IUI's don't work!
and WOW!
Interest rates dropped today...we were able to take advantage of it and lock in on a much lower rate...we were able to get cash out in the re-fi (15k!!!)and we only pay $12 more a month! We have to pay 300 out of pocket for the new appraisal but thats it...we rolled the rest of the closing costs into the new loan.
WOO HOOO!!!! if we need to, we now have money to pay for IVF if we don't get preggo within the next 4 IUI's
WHEW! SUCH a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders!
My point is, if this is weighing heavy on anyones minds and you own a house, perhaps this is something you can look into as well.

I am glad your dh is agreeing and you were able to pull some money out. Look into some 'grants' in your area as well that will cover some IVF costs.

Congrats! that's really great!
We're going to be self funding also. We haven't decide how yet though 
I'm trying to find info about this maternity card
has anyone heard of it? it says they offer fertility treatments

Can you point to where you saw that they offer fertility treatments, I jsut read over a few of the pages and couldn't see it but now you have peaked my interest.
Do you own a home? If so, you might want to think about re-financing right now when the rates are low again.

Wow, that is great that you have a way of financing it. Very clever! I would not have thought of that. I wish you lots of luck, hopefully you won't need the IVF but it must be a relief to know that you'll have the means to do it.
