TTC - I think I need some help
Hi Everyone! I can't believe I'm finally posting over here. I went off the pill last month, and spoke to my GYN about TTC. She said to start off, have sex every other day between days 14 to 18 of my cycle. Anything else I should know???
I'm just worried because I had thyroid cancer a couple of years ago, so no thyroid and on Synthroid. Both my drs said it won't be a problem...but I worry anyway.
Thanks for any advice...you guys seem to know everything about anything over here  Baby Dust to all

Babydust to you. However, how does your doctor know that you should bd ( baby dance) during days 14-18 ? You may very well be ovulating before day 14 and way past day 18. The best thing you can do is buy the book,Taking Charge of Your Fertility, purchase some opks and a thermometer,...and start tracking your temps :)

As redstar suggested, reading Taking Charge of your Fertility will be very beneficial to you while TTC. The only way to know when you will be ovulating is to take your temps each and every day. Does your doctor actually know when you ovulate to make that suggestion to you?

Ditto, if you ovulate between day 10-13, BD-ing on 14-18 will not help you and only cause you to become frustrated month after month!!!
Likewise if you ovulate after day 18! Definitely buy TCOYF, it will help you incredibly!!!!
