Re: weight gain
let me see - I am 34 lbs heavier today than my wedding day. I definitely was gaining before IF, but the whole roller coaster triggers emotional eating for me. I also just passed the one year annivesary of paying NYSC for the privelage of having a card to hang off my keychain - I think I went on average once a month
And I also have a WW online membership.
For me, its stress / comfort eating and NO exercise, which su cks because I used to enjoy it a lot
ETA - I wrote this while eating a bag of Pepperidge Farm mini chessmen

I could have wrote the above myself omitting the part about the IVF.
The whole Infertility process has packed some pounds on me.
I certainly hope that the injections do not cause weight gain, as I am not looking to gain another pound
If the injections do contribute to weigh loss, I would like to know too, that way I KNOW I must zip my lip!

Re: weight gain
Ummmm...whatever RED wrote I could've written. Although I did finally cancel the WW membership (only after I paid for ten weeks in advance though)

Re: weight gain
I think through all of my ivf cycles I gained about 15 pounds. Trying to lose that now. The stress of the whole thing did not help either.

Re: weight gain
gained about 10 pounds lost some but it's not just the meds it the way it makes you feel. I don't feel like doing anything when doing injectables! Lost alot of it, but of course going to do IVF in February so back on the injectables

Re: weight gain
Right now I am up 10 pounds from when I walked into the RE's office 2 years ago. BUt I was very overweight to begin with and at points I was almost 10 pounds more than I am now.
I honestly can say I would only gain a couple pounds if anything from the meds. For me the emotional eating was much more the contibuting factor.

Re: weight gain
I was heavy to begin with and I read that doing IVF everyone gains so -- I let myself gain. I can't really say how much, but a lot.
I regret it now -- I feel like if I had been less heavy, I would have been able to feel the baby more, and wouldn't be so achey. Also I think I would have been more noticable as being pregnant - than just still looking fat at 21 weeks.

Re: weight gain
I would gain 10-12 lbs every cycle. Immediately after stopping the injections, I would drop about 7-8. But a few kept on staying.
