Tutoring jobs . . . anyone??

Hi everyone. Im looking for some private tutoring jobs. Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone been successful in aquiring jobs outside of the district they teach in.

I have my masters, Iver been teaching for 4 years and have a lot of experience and training in k-2 especially reading.

Ive tried putting ads in the pennysavers but havent received any calls.

It is more difficult to do but I would suggest only tutoring outside of your district. Many districts and communities might see tutoring within the district as a conflict of interest.

If you have neighbors with school age children you can start by asking them if they can spread the word for you.

I work at Post and we hire tutors. They work with college students with learning disabilities. It doesnt pay as much as private tutoring but if you are interested you can forward your resume for the fall semester.
