Oh man! What now?

So you all know that I have been sick for months and had to delay my biopsy 3 times. Well I am feeling so much better now and getting ready and then Bam... I think I have a yeast infection.

I am hoping its not and will go away. BUt if it doesn't, do I call my OBGYN? MY RE? BUy something OTC?

Do you think he will make me delay the biopsy again?

When would the biopsy be? Something over the counter might help. But you would want a few days for it to get out of yoyr system.

Drink cranberry juice...Just like other infections, the cranberry nuetralizes the bacteria and will help kill any there!!

I have 2 more weeks, but even if it is "out of my system" I'm not sure that will be good enough. When I was on meds for only the first few days of my cycle he said "remember your lining is growing since day 1 blah blah blah"

I am dreading making that call.

Poor Thing!!! At the very least, drink Cranberry Juice.

And drink abble cider vinegar -- I got a yeast infection just in time for my transfer and this knocked it out of me in one day! Besides I didn't want to take any MORE drugs...!

I would either buy OTC or drink the Apple Cider Vinegar
But definitely don't put it off, no matter what it will be gone in two weeks.

Mine is tomorrow, I'm so nervous.

I would call your gyno, I was basically told by my RE that my gyno still covered those issues.

there is a one day treatment available - I think its perscription though, I got it from my obgyn last year

oh jeez pauline!!! i would call and just be upfront with the re and see what they suggest. but i would express your eagerness to finally be able to do the biopsy.

i hope it clears up pronto!! sorry you have to deal with this now.

I would definitely give the Dr's office a ring and let them know that I was going for the otc cure

Also, I would eat tons of yogurt and drink water to help flush out your system.

I think I might be the only crazy one here and say that I wouldn't even call. One should have nothing to do with the other, and I wouldn't want to give them another chance to cancel.

What did you end up doing?

I wasnt even sure that was it so I am going to wiat a day and see what happens. So much better today with no treatment. So I think it might have been just irritation.
